Show up.

Many people who really want their life to be different. They want to lose weight or gain muscle. They want to eat healthier or move their body more. They want to drink less alcohol or drink more water. They want to have a healthier relationship with their mom or sister or cousin or spouse. They want to sleep more, scroll the internet less. They want a different job , more money and more freedom. They want to be happier, healthier, more respected all while having more time for themselves.

But they don’t have these these. Because they don’t show up for themselves. They don’t take the time, change the mindset or do the work. They wish for something different but do not make any changes to be different. So things stay the same. They continue to take the same roads, walk the same path and get stuck in default mode.

Does this sound familiar? Wanting a better situation? Dreaming of a different life? Wishing for more? But not wanting to make the changes or not knowing how to? Feeling stuck where you are but not knowing what step to take to go elsewhere?

My question to you is what are you doing to get to where you want to go? Are you showing up for yourself? Why or why not? Are you changing habits, surrounding yourself with people that line up with your values or letting go of limiting beliefs? Are you looking at what the best in your field are doing to get ahead? Are you reading the latest book on how to go after what you want? Are you asking for support? Are you being intentional in your daily choices?

I encourage you to show up for yourself. Really show up for yourself. Set boundaries. Create habits. Do the work. No one else can do it for you. You get to do it. Let’s get started!
